When is Cub Scout Day Camp?
Typically late July. Usually held on Monday - Thursday, and from 9am - 4pm.
Where does Pack 86 attend Day Camp?
Typically Harris Hill Day Camp Area
Who is elligable to go to Day Camp?
Only Scouts can attend Day Camp - Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos I...... oh my!!! Basically, any registered Scout who is going into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th in September the following autumn. This does not include former Webelos II Scouts as they would have typically transitioned into Boy Scouts by this time.
What does Day Camp cost to attend?
There is usually an "Early Bird" special (by end of May) for about $75, which includes a camp themed t-shirt. After that date, the cost is usually about $85 and the t-shirt will be provided while supplies last.
Can my Scout use his Pack 86 Scout Account?
Yes. Check with the Pack Treasurer to see if funds are available in your Scout's account. If you pay after the Early Bird date, pay with your own funds at the Mall Scout Shop. If elligable, fill out a Pack 86 Reimbursement Form (see Forms) and submit to the treasurer.
How do I sign my Scout up for Day Camp?
Typically we register as a Pack and before the Early Bird deadline to get the best discount. If you need to sign up you Scout after the Early Bird deadline, sign up on your own at Scout Shop or Council Website.

What about Food?
Bring your own lunch. The Scouts will be given a time to eat between activities.
What should my Scout wear?
Camp T-shirts provided if you register and pay prior to the Early Bird deadline. After that, they usually provide t-shirts while supplies last. Otherwise, dress appropriately.
What else should my Scout bring?
Water bottle labeled with name
Swim Suit & Towel (there is a pool, weather permitting)
Lunch with a drink
A small backpack is recommended,
Note: Archery & BB Shooting Achievements can only be earned at a BSA Camp. And yes, happy to say, they are VERY strick on the rules & safety.
